About Us
Discover our history, our mission, and our commitment to sustainable and responsible agriculture.
The beating heart of our local agriculture.
COOPACE COOP-CA, is a cooperative with a board of directors, founded to structure and revitalize the agricultural and livestock sectors of Cameroon. Rooted in the Central Region, it unites producers, artisans, and entrepreneurs around a shared vision:Quality, Traceability, Sustainability, and Excellence.
With us, every seed, every tree, every harvest tells a story, because our collaborative approach allows us to pool our resources, share our expertise, and build a better future for agriculture in our region together.
Our commitment is to support local producers in their development by providing them with tools, training, and a strong network to transform their practices and access new markets.
We believe in sustainable, fair, and prosperous agriculture for all stakeholders in the value chain. Every day, we work to strengthen the capacities of our members and create concrete development opportunities.
It all began in 2009, during an economic tour initiated by the Head of State. The Governor of the Central Region, Koumpa Issa, visited the farm of Mr. EDZIGUI André MARIE-FLORET, now Chairman of the Board. With its 400 hectares located in Ngougoumou, in the Soa district, this strategic farm presented exceptional potential for regional agricultural development.
Faced with this wealth and its central location, the Governor made a historic wish: to create a regional cooperative capable of uniting forces, structuring production, and combating illicit and destructive trade.
This is how COOPACE COOP-CA was born, where the vision of a leader and the collective energy of its members unite to transform every hectare into sustainable opportunities and every harvest into shared success.
